In line with its mission to empower HEIs in practice-oriented entrepreneurship promotion and training, the African German Entrepreneurship Academy (AGEA) is organising an online training course on Entrepreneurship promotion and education. The training comprises two modules, to wit, “Developing Entrepreneurship education course at HEIs” and “Strategy Development of Entrepreneurship Centers at HEIs”. These Modules will be facilitated by Dr. Gonzalves Nshimiyimana (INES-Ruhengeri, Rwanda) and Prof. Dr. Utz Dornberger (Leipzig University, Germany) respectively, using various participatory teaching and learning approaches. Emphasis will be laid on defining the specific needs of HEIs and their objectives and finding the tools and approaches to achieve them.
The training is targeted at lecturers, trainers and staff of African universities and HEIs, responsible for and actively involved in entrepreneurship and business development in their respective institutions. Participants will receive five (5) four-hour weekly training sessions beginning from 28 April 2021 through to 09 June 2021. Participants will receive a certificate from the International SEPT Competence Center, Leipzig University, after completing the training.
